UTERUS AND SHAKTI POWER

So many women suffer from disorders linked to the menstrual cycle such as : heavy bleeding, fatigue, bloating, depression, dark feelings, irregular cycles, cramps, clots, irritability, amenorrhea, only to name a few.

Women commonly have unbearable cramps forcing them to take medication and stay in bed, others have depressive thoughts during certain periods of the cycle, others are completely drained and depleted after days of heavy bleeding.

What is going on, why are these symptoms omnipresent, what is happening with women’s reproductive health, and how can we address these symptoms at their root?

Speaking about disorders of the uterus is a vulnerable subject because it shines light on our femininity and the condition of our wombs ; the seat of our creative power.

Beyond hormonal imbalances, stress and anxiety, lifestyle, etc. there lies an unspoken reality which takes us at the root of the issue, deep into the underground where the laws of nature operate, offering a profound and empowering alternative.

THE PATH OF LIFE AND THE PATH OF DISEASE

In order to understand what is happening we need to zoom out and see the macro picture. Our bodies belong to nature, first and foremost. The societal construct has been built on top of nature, but underneath the current of life still runs its course, and the immutable laws of nature govern our life, in parallel with the laws of society.

Long ago, humans decided to bypass the laws of nature to have control over Her. To this day we live the consequences of this choice – albeit unconsciously. This disconnection is at the root of disease.

Nature is not separate from us, it is us. The earth is our earth, our body, our land, our nature. We have compromised our sacred nature in order to have control over forces that are greater than us – to have things the way we want rather than surrendering to the way it is, the eternal path of nature.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN IN REGARDS TO THE HEALTH OF OUR UTERUS?

Our wombs are part of a bigger womb, the womb of nature, earth. It is by being plugged into the earth that our wombs receive nourishment and the nutrients needed to thrive. This connection happens concretely through our bone structure which has the same vibrational frequency as the earth.

However as a result of our disconnection from nature, we no longer have roots, our bone structure is held up by tensions rather than grounded in the earth.

This means that we are disconnected from our vital energy and power. In other words we are in deficit, deriving energy from tensions, friction, rather than from circulation. If you rub surfaces against one another, it generates heat, energy, but this energy does not come from the same place as energy that circulates from relaxation. Furthermore it strains the tissues and depletes them in time, rather than the regeneration that comes from circulation.

In essence disorders of the menstrual cycle stem from tensions and compensations that block circulation and create an environment where toxins accumulate – expressing themselves through the different symptoms we experience. This being said, the symptoms in and of themselves – when approached with the right understanding – are gateways to our long lost power.

EMPOWERING THOUGHTS / ACTIONS ALLEVIATE THE SYMPTOMS RELATED TO MENSTRUATION

Each time we ovulate – it is with the purpose of receiving a seed so a child or a project can come to life.

In this light :

⚘ Each cycle that we consciously walk towards ourselves and our power

⚘ Each cycle that we cultivate life and use our creative energy to build our future

⚘ Each cycle that we cut through the limiting beliefs / patterns and embrace the light of truth

Each of these cycles unwinds the psychosomatic blockages and knots that restrict the flow of vitality, detoxifying and cleansing the old so new can manifest. On a month by month basis as well as a life journey.

On the other hand, each time we go through a cycle and lose our vital energy in actions and thoughts that are not at the height of our aspirations and creative potential, the symptoms and disorders surrounding the menstrual cycle increase or are heightened : insecurity, feelings of darkness, depression and anxiety, pain, bloating, etc.

YOGA THERAPY FOR FEMININE HEALTH

Healing is a journey. Which begins first and foremost by acknowledging our reality. Then slowly as we choose to let go of control and surrender to the way of nature, our vital energy locked in tensions and compensations is put in circulation – to heal and regenerate the tissues which have been cut from the flow of life. In time as we replenish our land, a rich, fertile soil is cultivated to manifest our greatest desires.

WHERE TO BEGIN

The uterus is part of the body, and all the tissues are interlinked in the body. Which means that addressing disorders of the menstrual cycle implies developing a conscious relationship with the multidimensional universe of the body which encompasses the endocrine system, circulatory system, emotions, psyche, desires and aspirations, pulls and tendencies of the mind, impressions, memories — all our story encrypted in our tissues.

In order to unwind the tensions that are at the source of the different disorders, we need to digest our life. Layer by layer. By relaxing and letting go of control. Thus tuning ourselves to an intention that is opposite to the one that generated the dis-ease. In letting go of control, the feminine realm opens to us – the deeper dimensions, the underworld and the primal sensitive body  – reconnecting us with our nature and womb power.

This therapeutic work yields immediate appeasement and alleviation of symptoms as well as builds in the short, medium, and long term, the foundations of our greatest aspirations.
